Dr. Rodríguez has demonstrated a commitment to the eye health care of his patients. He has been NJSBO licensed and practicing in Hudson County since 1982. He graduated from Seton Hall University and went on to post-graduate training. He received his Doctorate from the State University of New York - State College of Optometry.
Dr. Rodríguez is an optometric physician licensed and certified in the DIAGNOSIS AND MANAGEMENT OF OCULAR DISEASES and is authorized to prescribe medications, to treat and manage eye injuries, diseases and conditions.
Professional activities
Dr. Rodríguez is Past-President of the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians and President of the Hudson County Society of Optometric Physicians. He is a member of the National Glaucoma Society, the Ocular Nutrition Society, the Ocular Surface Society of Optometry the American Public Health Association and numerous other professional associations.
Dr. Rodriguez frequently provides continuing education to colleagues in the area of Ocular Surface Diseases, Glaucoma, Dry Eye Disease, Ocular Allergy, Viral Eye Diseases, Oral Medications as well as new medications. As a speaker for several pharmaceutical companies, Dr. Rodriguez lectures to colleagues providing important updates on new medications.

Personal life
When not taking care of patients or teaching, in his spare time, he enjoys Tai Chi, mountain biking, snorkeling, photography, reading and classical music. Dr. Rodriguez enjoys most of all to share time with his wife and sons, Paul, Steven and Daniel. He and his wife, Linda, live in the great state of New Jersey.
